Piazza Cavour is dominated by the 14th century Palazzo dell'Arengo e del Podestà. The solemn loggia, the scene of much urban life and a place dedicated to the administration of justice, represents the most authentic part of the building built in 1204 by order of Modio dei Carbonesi, mayor of Rimini.
