Restaurant: Lucy Gazebo Restaurant Next to the National Museum this restaurant with a fantastic garden and very nice ambience serves pastas, curries and pizzas. Also has several local dishes like injera.
Very good place to eat outdoor but a little expensive for the country.

Hotel: Avanti Blue Nile **** A luxory hotel very relaxing. Rooms are very well equiped and with a terrace with views over the Lake Tana.
Efficient staff and delicious food. The breakfast was spectacular with all kind of food, local and european. Free Wi-Fi was available in the lobby. |

Hotel: Taye Belay *** The better of this hotel it is its location. You can walk to the Royal Enclosure and to the city centre. Rooms poorly furnished and decorated. The shower wasn't very strong and hard to regulate.
The staff very charming and efficient. The breakfast was only sufficient. Free Wi-Fi only in the lobby. If possible ask for a big terrace room. |

Hotel: Lal *** Located near the churches (15-20 minutes walking). The hotel has a very pleasant and relaxing garden, a swimming pool, a good restaurant and a very kind staff.
The rooms were very spacious and tidy, in a two-storied bungalow, but the maintenance was very poor. We have water supply problems, and some leaks in the room.
Very hard to find the Wi-Fi offered. The breakfast was good. |

Hotel: Yeha *** The better location in Axum, overlooking the stelae field and St Mary of Zion church. The gardens are visited by many vervet monkeys. The rooms were poor furnished and the
hot water almost nonexistent. The staff very charming and efficient. Free Wi-Fi only in the lobby but very weak. |
