Hotels & Restaurants in Philippines

In Manila - Hotel: Savoy Hotel Manila ***** The hotel has luxurious ambiance. Attendants were very polite, accommodating and friendly. The buffet included a wide range of choices to appeal to any taste. Conveniently located very close to the airport, the hotel is a great place to stay if accessibility to the airport is considered.

In Coron - Hotel: La Natura Resort ***** Beautiful resort in the middle of nature and away from the hustle and bustle of the town, although fifteen minutes by tricycle. The staff is very friendly and the kitchen is top notch.

In Palawan - Hotel: Huni Lio ***** Excellent newly built resort in the private area of Lio Beach. Common areas of first quality. Pool very nice. Rooms with all comfort and good wifi. Very attentive staff. The restaurant and bar is very near the resort, facing the beach. The breakfast is a little basic and standard.
Restaurant: Tuk-Tuk Thai *** This restaurant is on the beach and the sea view is priceless! The noodle with seafoods and the spring rolls are superb.
Restaurant: Fat Choy *** Directly located on Lio Beach. Good portion size and food is decent but not great. It's certainly overrated.

In Camiguin - Hotel: Nypa Style Resort **** The tranquil garden of this property, meticulously mantained offers a haven of peace 500m inland from the coast. Each of the bamboo cottages are uniquely decorated. The food is really delicious. Italian cuisine and every evening the dinner options were different. Staff is super friendly and alert, the cottages are clean and very distant each other. The resort owner, Stefano, is very welcoming and kind.
Hotel: Kurma Eco Beach Lodge *** The best about this hotel is its location by the sea. It offers unforgettable views and sunsets. Standard rooms, with or without AC but very noisy. Our room was very small and poorly furnished. They make the very best of vegetarian traditional and local cuisine. We fell in love with their salads and coconut burger. You can start the day with some yoga and free diving.
Restaurant: La Dolce Vita *** Just in fron the airport, this restaurant ruled by an italian owner-chef offers delicious pizzas cooked in a brick oven and pastas using only high-quality imported ingredients. Capuccinos are also standouts.
Restaurant: J&A Fishpen *** Fish and seafood in this restaurant comes directly from the pens on the Benoni lagoon wich overlooks. Very appetizing and tasty dishes.
