Hotels & Restaurants in Namibia

In Windhoek - Hotel: Kubata City Hotel *** A simple and basic establishment, ideal for an overnight stay. The rooms are large and equipped with air conditioning and TV. There is a small pool and an big cage with birds. Breakfast was simple, but more than sufficient.
Restaurante: Joe's Beerhouse **** One of the most famous bars in Windhoek. Here you can taste meat of all those amazing animals you've seen on safari: zebra, ostrich, springbok, oryx and even crocodile. Large and very cozy place with wooden tables and great outside space. The clients are completely western.

In Otjiwarongo - Hotel: C'est Si Bon Hotel **** This hotel named as the commons French expression that translates as 'is so good' offers a mix of Namibian design with Europen details. The swimming pool, the gardens, the bar and restaurant makes your stay very pleasant. Staff very friendly and rooms very comfortable.
In Ethosa National Park - Campsite: Halali Rest Camp **** This campsite is located en the middle of Ethosa National Park between several dolomite outcrops. It counts with a floodlit waterhole where rhinos came to drink. A lovely place to stay at sunset. The swimming-pool is wonderful.
Campsite: Okaukuejo Rest Camp ***** This campsite functions as the official park headquarters and main visitor centre. The Okaukuejo waterhole is probably Ethosa's best place to see rhinos. The facilites of the campsite are excellents.

In Kamanjaab - Campsite: Otjitotonge Cheetah Farm **** It is a farm whose owners protect cheetahs, both domesticated and wild. It has a camping area with swimming pool and bathrooms.
In Twyfelfontein - Campsite: Xaragu Camp ** Good location for Twyfelfontein, petrified forest. There is no lighting so it is necessary to bring your own light. Communal bathroom and showers not clean and bad manteined.
In Spitzkoppe - Campsite: Spitzkoppe Camp **** Paradise, quiet and different place where you can enjoy nature. The site is spectacular, spread over several campsites around the African savannah. Each campsite has only one space to leave the car, but that makes it magical to enjoy a beautiful evening under the stars. The campsites do not have showers or water, although at the entrance of the enclosure you can find these services. We recommend arriving relatively early to choose the best camping site, walking along the stones and rocks of Spitzkoppe during daylight and watching the sunset and dusk from one of the high points of the place.
In Swakopmund - Hotel-Pension: A la Mer **** Beautiful hotel located next to the promenade and with beautiful views of the sunset. I loved the hotel, spacious rooms in very good condition, very good decoration. The services offered are excellent, very good breakfast.
Restaurant: Ocean Basket *** This is a South African chain seafood restaurant. Very clean and well attended place. Wonderful platters of fish, potatoes and vegetables. Probably the best value for money in Swakopmund.
In Sesriem - Campsite: Sesriem Campsite *** Appart another ultraexclusive lodge, this is the only accomodation inside the park gates. Staying here guarantees that you will be able to arrive Sossusvlei in time for sunrise. The campsite is rudimentary and expensive, and some times really noise, but you pay for the location inside the park.
