The Lothair's Cross, a gift by Emperor Otto III, is embellished with a Roman cameo portraying Emperor Augustus and with a seal of Lothair II, another great-grandon of Charlemagne who was King of Lotharingia, a partition of the Charlemagne Empire which included Aache.
