Hotels & Restaurants in Rome

In Rome - Hotel: Nerva Boutique Hotel **** This stylish hotel is hidden behind the Imperial Forums. Its confortable rooms display a modern look and offers all the amenities neeeded: confortable bed, free wifi, beautiful marble shower and complementary water. The breakfast is huge, very well presented and served and very complete. The location is unbeatable as you are just 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum and 20 form the Panteon.
Restaurant: Pizzeria Alle Carrette *** Traditional Roman pizzeria on one prettiest car-free street near Trajan's Forums. Tobacco-coloured walls give the place a vintage vibe. Very good pizza, super thin and swiftly cooked in a wood-burning oven and delicious deep-fried zucchini flowers. Good prices and food.
Restaurant: Terre e Domus *** A modern restaurant located in the touristy Forum area. With minimal decor and large windows overlooking the Trajan's Columns it's a good place to enjoy traditional local dishes, all made with ingredients sourced from the surrounding Lazio region.
Restaurant: Osteria di Agrippa *** Cozy resturant with good food and the sweetest staff. The basement of the place contains the remains of Rome's first thermal baths, built by M. Agrippa.
Restaurant: Fiaschetteria Beltramme **** A super spot for authentic Roman meal near the Spanish Steps, Fiaschetteria (meaning 'wine sellers') is a place stuck in time with a short menu. They made dishes using recipes unchanged since the 1930s when a waiter at the 19th century wine bar started serving food. Try here the perfect carbonara.
Restaurant: Caffè Roma ** Good option for a quick snack, but not a spectacular meal.Very busy, tables were very close together.
Ice Cream Parlour: Günther ***** With three gelato shops scattered around the historic center, there's no excuse not to try Günther's gelato. Top-notch ingredients, seasonality and fresh fruit are at the base of this ice-cream parlour.
Luxory ice-cream parlor decorated in white and gold with vaulted ceilings and frescoes everywhere. This boutique offers not only some of the best ice-cream in the city, but also some beautifully packaged delicacies, chocolates and pralines.
