Sinaia is located in Prahova Valley the natural pass between Wallachia and Transylvania. Bucegi Mountains surround this king's summer retreat where the first highlight is Peles Castle, home of King Carol I and goal of most tourists. But also the little Sinaia Monastery and the superb setting worth a visit.
