Turin 2018

Turin owes its magnificent Egyptian Museum to Bernardo Drovetti who was stationed in Egypt as French Consul at the time of the Napoleonic Wars. It was the booty he brought back that formed the basis of this collection of Egyptian artifacts, one of the most importants in the world.
