Restaurant: Zemaiciai. A meat-eater's paradise, you can taste boiled pigs ears, a one-metre long sausage or a an entire piglet, stuffed or roasted. Summertime seating in a patio among Old Town church steeples and terracota rooftops is a pleasure. |

Hotel: Daugirdas Hotel **** Located inside a beautifully restored, partially modernised building in the heart of Old Town. Big rooms, even tripple, and modern. Breakfast is served in a 16th century Gothic restaurant in the basement. |

Hotel: Vilhemine Hotel. Excellent guesthouse in Liepaja Old Town. Very quiet area and very friendly and helpful staff. Large rooms and the triple enormous. Highly recommended. |

Restaurant: Pastnieka Maja. A modern two-level restaurant in a vast mansion. Traditional Latvian dishes and other exotic offerings. Evening live music, and a confortable garden in summer. |

Hotel: Garden Palace **** Excellent location. Good value for money. Breakfast was good but the restaurant was smal for all the guest. |

Restaurant: 1739. Located into a historic house, this is a expensive restaurant with a cheaper lunch. Good terrace in summer. |

Hotel: Pils. Very quiet hotel, good located in Sigulda Valley. A good option to sleep inside Gauja National Park. Good rooms and baths. Hall for breakfast is a little small but in summer is possible to take it outside in the terrace. Avoid triple room. |

Restaurant: Pilsmuiza. Inside New Sigulda Castle, this restaurant overlooks the ruins of the castle and has panoramic view of the Gauja Valley. The food is typical Latvian. |
In Parnu - |

Hotel: Koidula Park Hotel **. A 1905 hotel overlooking a downtown park. Small rooms without air-conditioned. Intolerable triple room. |

Restaurant: Alex Maja. Good food in a quiet courtyard in Parnu downtown, that offers BBQ grill and many other dishes. Every Friday nights there is Karaoke. |
In Saaremaa - |

Hotel: Jurna Recration Farm. A pretty farm located only 6 Km from Kuressaare. It has a nice garden very quiet and pleasant where is possible to take breakfast in sunny days. Very kind and servicial owners. |

Restaurant: Veski Trahter. A cosy multilevel restaurant set inside a windmill. The menu offers grilled fish and meats. |

Hotel: St. Barbara *** Rooms recently renovated but still with a soviet air. Good location near Old Town. Breakfast buffet was server in the cellar. |

Restaurant: Kuldse Notsu Korts. Heaven for pork-lovers, the cooks even put bacon in the bread!. This country-style Estonian restaurant is plenty of tourist crowds. The menu offers dishes as the "Estonian sausage feast for two" and some vegetarian plates. |
