In Copenhagen - Apartment: Apartment in Oestebro **** Good location. The apartment was in a very convinient place in a very quiet neighbourghood. Well comunicated with the city center. Very clean and big enough for six people. Very easy comunication with our host. The rear courtyard was very pleasant. The apartment was very well equiped and clean.
Restaurant: Nyhavn 33 *** Nice location with the possibility to sit inside and outside. Standard tourist fare, but you know in advance.
Restaurant: Cafe Wilder **** This classic restaurant serves generous lunch options. One of Copnehagen's oldest cafes, the place makes several appearances in the cult TV drama series Borgen.
Restaurant: Grøften **** This is the best restaurant in Tivoli. It's a bit touristy, but it's been here since 1874, making it a bit of a local institution. Offers classics smørrebrød but also meat and fish dishes.
Cafe: Cafe Oieblikket *** Located in the Black Diamond building, the new monolithic library extension, with super views inside and a relaxed hang-out atmosphere outside. For lunch, there are both rye bread sandwiches and salads.
Café: Café Mambo *** The smørrebrøds were good and the price was reasonable. However, the service was very slow.
Café: Højbro C *** You must ask for some famous club sandwiches, a tasty herring or a generous soup. Your well worked smørrebrød will taste great. This is a good place to sit and take a break from being a tourist while enjoying Copenhagen.
   
In Hillerod - Restaurant: Spisestedet Leonora **** Since 1970s this tavern is opened in the former Frederiksborg Castle stables. Offers a good array of carefully crafted open-faced sandwiches and fresh salads. In summer the open-air terrace is a perfect place for a meal.
   
In Malmö - Restaurant: Victors **** I'd recommend Victor's for good food, good value, and a great location. It is necesary ordering at the bar which could be very inconvenient for single people.
   
In Helsingør - Restaurant: Krone B **** A good choise for eat after visiting Kronborg castle. We had a choice of eating outside with a view of the castle or inside. The smørrebrøds were good and the price was reasonable.
   
In Odense - Apartment: Odense Apartments *** It is a very nice house in a quiet residential area about 20 minutes walk from the center. There is a supermarket next to the house, which makes it much easier if you need shopping. Our apartment is in the floor level, has all the comforts, the best bathroom, spacious and very comfortable. Everything is very clean and the host arrived on time to give us the keys and give us instructions.
Restaurant: Cafe Vivaldi **** Portions are generous and meals tasty. The service was a bit unusual because you need to go to the bar and order yourself, and hold your drinks to your table (..but they offered help we you wanted). We didn't need to wait long for delicious food.
Restaurant: Café Kraez *** A Cafe with a nice modern atmosphere, friendly staff and good mixed menu.
   
In Kolding - Hotel: First Hotel Kolding *** Excellent location, facing the train station and close to supermarkets and places to eat. Excellent breakfast. Rooms with a small balcony".
Restaurant: Den Blå Café*** Best Place in Kolding great menu, great service and great people. Nice atmosphere in a cozy little neighborhood place.
   
In Ribe - Apartment: Ribe Apartment **** The apartment is very clean and well maintained. Everything seems new or newly released. The rooms on the ground floor are a bit small. And the one on the high floor has a difficult and slightly dangerous staircase. However, the attention of the hosts was so exquisite that it made us forget these small inconveniences. The area is super quiet and about 10 or 15 minutes from the town center.
Café: Postgaarden **** Old bed & breakfast with a confortable café and a photogenic 1668 courtyard. Good light menus with danish products. We tried a cheese board and another one with herring and salmon. The coffee is very good also.
Café: Quedens Gaard *** A really quaint cafe with good food and well sized portions. The decor is fun and interesting with plenty of atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Restaurant: Weis Stue **** This is one of Denmark's oldest inns, crooked and charming. The menu is a dream for good eaters with large meat and potatoes portions, pepper pork medallions, Wiener Schnitzel, etc... and good locally brewed beer.
   
In Rømø - Restaurant: Holms Røgeri *** This is a very touristic place, and everything is of course on the expensive side. The fish was fresh and tasty and the portions hearty. But we were charged for two plates used for shared portions of our meal!!!
   
In Jelling - Restaurant: Jelling Kro *** In a 1780 bright-yellow building,this country inn serves up traditional Danish plates and open-faced sandwiches.
   
In Aarhus - Apartment: Aarhus Apartment **** The house is huge, and very well equipped. It is in a quiet and very central area. A marvel.
Restaurant: OliNico **** Small deli-restaurant with a menu of classic dishes at astoundingly good prices. Excellent moules frites with homemade chips. No reservations. You have to ask at the counter. Friendly and helpful staff.
Restaurant: Sidewalk *** In a top location in Aarhus, they had excellent beef and chicken burgers. Sitting arrangement outside is quite nice you can drink, eat, enjoy the sun in summers. Friendly and helpful staff. Be careful with the seagulls that steal food from the dishes.
Café: Vestergade *** Good selection of beers and food. Good atmosphere and efficient staff. Good place for hot and cold drinks, hot toddy, adult beverages and quick lunch.
   
In Ebeltoft - Restaurant: Mellen Jyder **** The oldest and most historically evocative restaurant in Ebeltoft occupies a half-timbered building from 1610, a few steps from the old Town Hall. Inside or in the courtyar you will find traditional Danish dishes.
   
In Roskilde - Hotel: Scandic Roskilde Park **** Good breakast. It was about 15 minutes walk to the cathedral and another 15 minutes to the Viking Boat Museum, so well placed for visit Roskilde. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable but very little for us, although the hotel argue have changed all beds for bigger ones. Clean and tidy.
Restaurant: Raadhuskaelderen **** This is one of the oldest restaurants in Roskile, a dining room at the street level of a building erected in 1430 across the street from the town's cathedral. Although it's tempmting to remain within the vaulted interior, there's also an outdoor terrace that is pleasant during mid-summer, especially because of its views of the cathedral. Herring platters, shrimps, salads, a burger and open sandwiches feature on the lunch menu.
Restaurant: Gorm's *** The best pasta and pizza restaurant in Roskilde.
