The Great Hall is the largest and most spectacular of the Royal Reception Rooms. It is 40 metres long with a ceiling height of 10 metres. A gallery runs all the way round the room. The walls of the Great Hall are decorated with a unique set of modern tapestries from the year 2000 illustrating the history of Denmark and the world for the past 1000 years.
