Lindos, is without question the most picturesque town on the island of Rhodes. The place was first inhabited around 3000 BC. In the 6th century BC, under
the benevolent tyrant Kleoboulos, Lindos flourished and grew rich from its many foreign colonies. Now it is a National Historic Landmark plenty of blinding white
houses, an impresive Crusader castle and the Acropolis dramatically overlooking the turquoise sea.
