Piazza Anita Garibaldi

Piazza Anita Garibaldi was created in 1879 from the demolition of the old houses along the boulevard leading to the railway station. It takes its name from the monument inaugurated on 1888 dedicated to Anita Ribeira wife and companion of Giuseppe Garibaldi, and to the people of Ravenna who died on the scaffold, in prison, in war and in exile.
