St Peter is the centre of the Roman Catholic faith and the largest church in the world. The basilica draws pilgrims from all over the globe.
The church took over a hundred years to build and involved all the great Roman Renaissance and Baroque artists and architects, not only Bramante,
but also Raphael, Bernini and Michelangelo.
