B&B Via Stampatori ***** Wonderful B&B located in an ancient palace, a very quiet place in the center of the town.
The room was decorated with a lot of taste, very nice design piece everywhere, and the bed was very comfortable!. The breakfast was perfect, attractively presented, ample and varied.
The host was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. There are lots of stairs but help is available so don't let this put you off staying in this great B&B ! |

Restaurant: Sicomoro **** Very good food and excellent pizzas at a reasonable price. Well decorated interior design with great ambience. |
|
Restaurant: E'Cucina **** The place is modern, minimalist, maybe a little too empty decoration-wise. No need to choose from the menu, you can only say "fish", "meat" and then "stop" when you are happy enough.
I ate fish, and it was great. Impeccable service, delicious food. The price was just fair. |
|
Restaurant: Caffe Vergnano **** Good place for a quick meal based on sandwiches or pasta. Small tables. A little expensive. |
|
Caffe: Caffe Torino ** Caffe Torino is one of the oldest luxury bar in Torino. All what is left of the splendor of the old days at the historical Caffè is the wood-panelling and the stucco-work: everything else is gone.
The waiters are not friendly nor helpful, and the prices are unjustifiables. I took one capuccino (nothing special) and one infamous croissant jam filling by 9,5 euros. |
|
Restaurant: Eataly Lingotto *** A place to visit if you are an occasional tourist in Turin. The best place to eat by far in Lingotto area. The quality is always high but this is a bit stressing place.
I ate a superb hamburger. |
|
Caffe: Caffe Universitá *** I tried the famous Torino aperitivo at Caffé Universita. It is well located under the arches of Via Po. It was a genuinely great experience: you pay 12 ?, order the drink you want
and then you can enjoy the buffet as much as you wish. The cuisine is simple, but full of taste. |
|
Caffe: Caffe Baratti&Milano ***** One of the most important historical cafés in Italy, the internal hall is really beautiful. Prices are a bit high but the place, at least once, is worth a visit.
One of the best hot chocolates that you will find in Turin. I tried the Bicerin and was superb. Perfect refreshing break while shopping and touring in this beautiful city. |
