Poland 2016

Malbork, the castle of the Teutonic Knights, was begun in the 13th century. It is a massive riverside fortress that evokes the struggles between Poles and Germans in medieval times. Damaged during World War II was painstakingly restored and is now in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
