This carved altarpiece is attributed to Hans Wydyz, about 1510. The Madonna with the Child, is named the "Beautifuly Lady of Mainz". She is flanked by Saint Martin of Tours, patron saint of the diocese of Mainz and Saint Boniface the first archbishop of Mainz.
