The location is perfect between de Old Town and the New Town. The better option to kwon Warsaw. Very suitable for five and even six people.

Café: To Lubie **** This café is a very cosy place with varied and complete breakfasts. The staff is very young and
friendly and speaks english. In summer they have outdoor setings. A great place to enjoy the magic atmosphere of the Old Town.

Café: Madame Trou *** Precious café in the beautiful Laziensky Park. A little pricey but you pay for the lovely view of the park.
Enough for a quick snack or a refresh or ice cream.

Restaurant: Pod Samsonem *** Located in the New Town, this restaurant is frecuented by locals and tourist looking for
dishes of the Jewish non-kosher (unorthodox) kitchen. Good prices and good outdoor places in summer.

Restaurant: Bar Mleczny Pod Barbakanem ** In the Old Town, just outside the Barbican this basic canteen from communist times
offers Polish meals in communal tables for very few zloty. Very difficult to understand anything because noboy speaks english. Don't go in here expecting
much in terms of service or choice, but go here if you want to try basic Polish food for bargain prices. A good place to know a typical polish milk-bar.

Restaurant: Zapiecek **** This popular restaurant has several locals in the town. We visited the one located in ul. Krakowskie Przedmiescie.
Always busy with locals and toursits. Traditional polish food and staff friendly speaking english and dressed with traditional costumes. Excellent goulash. In summer the have a pleasant terrace.

Café: Bombonierka Cafe & Tea *** In the New Town, it has good breakfasts with bread, cheese, honey, ham and coffee or tea. Good terrace if the sun is not very high
because it not has umbrellas.

Hotel: Solaris **** Excellent hotel fabulously located, near the Main Square in Old Town. Very clean and well mantained. It has elevator. We use the only parking place in front of
the hotel. Very convinient. Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety. Highly recomended. |

Restaurant: Szeroka N9 ***** One of the best restaurants in the city. Elegant and quiet, with attentive service and moderate prices.
The kitchen closes at 21:00. |

Restaurant: Pierogarnia Stary Torun ***** It has a good terrace and plenty of room inside. They make two types of pierogi: the typical ones
that are fried and the big baked ones. Big portions. Very good atmosphere and the menu is in English if requested. |

Restaurant: Manekin **** Located centraly in the Main Square. The restaurant is not very big but its capacity is increased by a large tent in the Main Square.
Crepes, italian food, salads and other meals very delicious. Staff very friendly and good service. It is open when other are closed. |

Restaurant: Pod Abazurem **** On the main road just before Gniew and its castle. You can eat both inside and in the garden. Typical Polish cuisine very well
executed with some innovations in the starters and desserts. |

Very well located. Very easy arrival and departure. Dorota makes you feel at home. |

Restaurant: Kubicki **** Great restaurant in the nicest part of the city. Allways full, it is necesary to book in advance. The food is a mix of great Polish dishes and some
nouvel cuisine. Beautiful decoration in brick and wood. With piano music although it is not very good sound. |

Restaurant: Kresowa *** Behind ulica Dluga, this restaurant offers traditional dishes from Lithuania and Ukraine. Housed in an old home, where various rooms are used for dinning,
with an elegant and nostalgic ambience and a summer garden. Old-fashioned music and friendly service in traditional eastern borderlands costumes. |

Apartment: Apartment Chelminskie ***** Super apartments in the very centre of Chelmno. Very clean and well maintained. Luxury rooms, modern and spacious. With very well equiped kitchen.
Very attentive staff that aids with local visits and places to go. |

Restaurant: Kraczma Chelminska *** Located in the courtyard of the hotel of the same name, with waiters dressed in traditional costumes, serves good food although not cheap.

Restaurant: Spichlerz ** Nice restaurant on the ground floor of a humble hotel. The menu is quite simple. For sweet tooth the desserts are amazing in size and flavor. |

Hotel: Garden Boutique Residence *** Good hotel in a very central location, just one minute walk from the main square at a very quiet street.
Luxurious old-fashioned decoration, with very little beds but confortables. The bathroom was surprisingly large. The staff speaks english and is very polite. The only
negative point is that the hotel do not have lift. If you can get rooms in the lower floors better. |

Restaurant: Wiejskie Jadlo **** Nice restaurant, traditionally decorated with wood walls and candles everywhere, like a country cottage.
Very popular with locals and tourists. Menu in Polish and English. Authentic Polish cuisine at good prices. We tried the Polish soups full of ingredients. The crepes with cottage cheese were also superb. |
In Lezno - |

Restaurant: Pocztowkaz Wakacji **** Located in the main square of Lezno, opposite of the Town Hall. Food delicious, original menu. Apparently traditionally, but something new.
Beautiful decoration and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit! |
In Wroclaw - |

Apartment: Old Town Apartment ** Apartment big and well located but very poor in comodities. The staircase leading up to the apartment had some bad smell and was in very poor conditions.
Many light bulbs didn't work. No proper curtains in 2 bedrooms. Staff very cold and unpleasant. The worse of all is the uncleaned sofa. |

Restaurant: Konspira *** Set in the 80's with posters, newspapers and other paraphernalia related to the Solidaridad movement, it is a brilliant restaurant. Large portions of local food at cheap prices.
Make sure you show the hidden room, which plays a Polish apartment from the 80s. Highlights the Polish-Hungarian Solidarity dish, a goulash of veal on the traditional Polish potato pancakes and sour sauce.
For drinking you can try kvass, which is a sweet fermented rye drink. Do not miss it. |

Café: Giselle **** The best place for breakfast in the city. Simple, modern and cozy. For a quiet breakfast. Excellent coffee, cappuccinos, fresh bread and French pastries.
With the menu in English and large wooden tables that can accommodate groups. |

Restaurant: Kociolek *** Good restaurant with decent prices. The typical dish is Kociolek, a type of stew from which the place got its name. |

Café Amorinio *** Located in the Rynek. Busy terrace outside where you can watch people passing by. Good coffe, cakes and sweets. |

Restaurant: Karczma Lwowska **** Located in the Main Square (Rynek). It can be translated as Lwow Tavern and is dedicated to the typical dishes of this city that is now Ukrainian.
Huge dining rooms decorated in a rustic and stately manner. It seems very cheap until you realize that all the accompaniments are charged separately. Still not expensive.
They emphasize the borsch, and other traditional Polish dishes and a great variety of vodkas. Menu in English. |

Restaurant: Mama Manousch **** New, modern and informal atmosphere. Local beautifully decorated with a large mural on the ceiling. Very good food, well cooked and presented.
The chocolate mousse is to die for. |

Restaurant: Prime Grill Pod Zlotym Jeleniem *** Although located in the Rynek, it is not a crowded place. Great burgers and grilled meat. |
In Krakow - |

Apartment: Apartment Swietego Tomasza **** Amazing apartment located in the very centre near the Main Square in Old Town. Very clean, spacious and well mantained. Pretty quiet, considering it's on a lively street. It has elevator. Staff very polite and helpful.
Agata, the manager, was charming and very helpful. Highly recomended. |

Restaurant: Pod Nosem **** Cosy restaurant with a good terrace outside. Located in Krakow's oldest street, under the nose (meaning of the name) of Wawel Castle.
They serve refurbished Polish cuisine very well presented. Good value for money |

Restaurant: Klezmer Hois *** Located in an old former mikveh - a ritual Jewish bath house - on ul. Szeroka, this is one of Kazimierz's most well-established restaurants, and a portal into the dusty sepia days of pre-war Poland.
Serving traditional Jewish Galician dishes from the 19th century, the restaurant generally follows kosher rules, though there's no rabbinical supervision. |

Restaurant: Pod Gruzska *** Interesting rooms from communist era. Food is very good and tasty, meals are filling, very interesting interior. Service was ok. Good prices and located in the very centre. |

Restaurant: Pino *** Nice and modern restaurtant just off the main square close to Plac Szczepanska. Very good and fresh food cooked on an open kitchen. The staff are very friendly and quick. Not Polish dishes, but excelent pasta, pizzas, burgers and salads. |
