Alba Iulia, an important city in the Dacian province during the Roman empire, is very important to Romanians because was here where the nation
announced the union of Transylvania with Romania in 1599 an 1918. The Alba Carolina Citadel offers interesting monuments, museums and sculptures
and a good promenade for a couple of hours.
