Baltic Republics 2011

The Curonian Spit is a line of golden sand of 98 Km long and just 4 Km wide, between Lithuania and Kaliningrad. Half of Lithuania's short Baltic Coast lies along the Curonian Spit, its region's most breathtaking natural feature. With majestic sand dunes of 60m high and the Curonian Lagoon it is a great place for hiking, cycling, canoeing and bird-watching.
