Dakar, the capital of Senegal, is a vibrant city limited by a long, sandy coast in the west, and a tigh bottleneck in the east, which connects the Cap Vert peninsula to mainland.
It has the best nightclubs, live music venues and art festivals in West Africa, and a handful of monuments and historical buildings that could easily ocuppied a pair of days.
