Lac Rose, also known as Lac Retba is a shallow lagoon surrounded by dunes and famous for being the final destination of the annual Paris-Dakar rally.
This lake owes its name to its pink colour caused by its high mineral and salt content, exactly the same salinity that Dead Sea.
