The Dodecanese 2017

Athens has been a city for 3.500 years but ist greatest glory was during the Classical period of ancient Greek from which so many buildings and monuments still survive. Within the Byzantine Empire and under Ottoman rule, Athens played only a minor role. Today it is a busy and moder metropilitan centre with many problems derived from the crisis that crosses the country.
