The Dodecanese 2017

Patmos, knwon as the Jerusalem of the Aegean, has a religous significance from St John's arrival in AD 95 and the founding of the Monastery of St John in 1088. For those visitors not motived by religion, Patmos's greatest strength is its beaches.
