Gdansk is one of the finest cities of northern Europe. It has beautiful buildings and a history
that stretches back more than one thousand years. The Main Town (Glowne Miasto) is the largest of the
historic quarters. It has the layout of the typical medieval port and concentrates most of the artistics treasures of the city.
All you can see here has been reconstructed after destruction caused by World War II.
